Factions 55hp Running
Take this link for my full running guide:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...34#post1439334
Intro:
There are several places you can get runs to in factions despite the need for certain quests to get into certain cities. Here I'll post different places YOU can 55hp run to.
Profession:Mo/W
Armor: Ascentics Amor with 5 superior runes. One for each monk attribute and one extra of any monk attribute.
Weapons: -50hp Focus, One Handed Weapon with 20% enchant mod, and -20hp focus(optional)
Stacking Enchantments:
Some of the creatures you’ll encounter remove enchantments, but only the enchantment on the top of your stack. So to keep them from removing protective spirit you’ll have to cover it up. The best skill to do this with is Healing breeze because it casts decently fast, recharges fast, and is something you can live without for a short amount of time. So here’s how to stack your enchantments on you so you don’t die from no Protective Spirit on yourself.
When you look in the upper right corner of your screen (If you’re using the default screen layout) you’ll see what conditions, hexs, stances, Shouts, and enchantments are on you. When you place an enchantment on your self that skills symbol appears in that corner of the screen. The oldest enchantment placed on you will be at the bottom of the stack (or will be the one to the left). The newest one placed on you will go on the top of the stack. Here’s an example below…
There are 3 differant general areas in factions I am covering. Here they are!
Neutral:
Maatu Keep->Tanglewood Copse
Atributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 8
Skills: Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Sprint, Charge, Blessed Signet, Mending, Balthazars Spirit, Essence Bond.
First exit Maatu Keep. Now put on all three enchantments and begain to run south. You will quickly find the portal. It is possible to avoid all contact with creatures on this run.
This run is to easy to really be considered a run. Do it for free or for tips. Just don't expect very high payment.
Kaineng Center->The Marketplace
Atributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 8
Skills: Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Sprint, Charge, Blessed Signet, Mending, Balthazars Spirit, Essence Bond.
First exit Kaineng Center and put on your three enchantments. Turn to your right(south) and run up the stairs. You'll soon see a group of afflicted in front of you. They can sometimes give out alot of Degen. Put on healing Breeze and get through them as fast as possible. You'll incounter no more creatures. Just continue running south until you reach The Marketplace. When you reach the portal zone through it.
You should charge tips for this run or do it for free as it is no real challenge.
Luxon:
Leviathan Pits->Seafarers Rest
Atributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 8
Skills: Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Sprint, Charge, Blessed Signet, Mending, Balthazars Spirit, Essence Bond.
First Exit Leviathan Pits through its southern Portal. Put on your three enchantments. Now turn to the Resurrection shrine. It has the Avatar of Dwayna. If you have favor pay 50 gold for Aura of Light. It helps alot. Now run south following the path I give. You should have no problems. Warning, when running through the spiked coral remember to have on protective spirit. Also when you run through afflicted keep in mind they can give you alot of degeneration. When you run through them use Healing Breeze. Get through them as fast as you can. Also, don't try doing this run by running under the bridge. Theres a group of Oni under it that will team up with a group of outcasts to corner and kill you.
Cavalon->Bai Paasu Reach->Eredon Terrace
Atributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 8
Skills: Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Sprint, Charge, Blessed Signet, Mending, Balthazars Spirit, Essence Bond.
First Exit Cavalon through its southern Portal. When you exit don't have your 55hp farming armor on. Where armor that will keep you at 400 health at least. Put on Mending and turn to the east. Run until you come to a portal. Zone through it.
Now change to your 55hp armor and place on all three enchantments. Run north through gruops of Naga until you reach Bai Paasu Reach. You will not need to use healing breeze. As soon as you get to the portal zone through it.
Now Zone back out of Bai Paasu Reach and place on all three enchantments. Run to the east until you reach the next portal. Zone through it. When ever you encounter Rot Wallows use healing breeze. They give you 4 health degen makeing mending in effective. They also knock you down. Ignore it.
This run is worth no more than 500g max. These cities are not important storyline cities.
Zos Shiveros Channel->Breaker Hollow->Aspenwood Gate (Luxon)
Atributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 8
Skills: Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Sprint, Charge, Blessed Signet, Mending, Balthazars Spirit, Essence Bond.
First exit Zos Shiveros Channels North Portal. Put on your three enchantments. Now staying as close to the cliff to you left go north until you find a break in the cliff wall. Don't aggro any groups. Now run through and turn to the right. You will run through a group of Rot Wallows so remember to use healing breeze. The portal will be right infront of you. Zone through it.
As soon as you zone through put on your 3 enchantments. Turn and go north until you reach the beach. You may incounter Oni along the way. They have a hex that makes you unable to cast spells for at least 10 seconds. If they pop up cast prot spirit and run out of them as fast as you can. If you stay close to them to long they'll cast there hex on you. If they do right before you break out of them. Just stand and wait without aggroing any more groups until it comes off you. Right in the jade water there will be a portal. Zone through it into Breaker Hollow.
Now zone back out of Breaker Hollow and put on your three enchantments once more. Turn to the west and begin running. Very soon you will find a choke point where theres a really Narrow troft you have to run through. At the bend there will be a group on Oni. Be sure to have prot spirit on you before you aggro them. Run out of them as fast as you can. As soon as you exit this troft turn right. There will be another group of Oni. Be careful. Run along the cliff wall that will be to your right until you reach the portal. You will probably have to run through Rot Wallows. Be sure to use healing Breeze. As soob as you reach the portal zone through it.
Warning: I recommend you have them pay you the full cost at Breaker Hollow. In Aspenwood Gate they can simply Zone into the mission and your whole party will be separated. You should charge 500-750 gold for this run.
Kurzick:
House Zu Heltzer->Lut Gardis Conservatory->Brauer Academy
Attributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 11
Divine: 15
Skills: Protective Spirit, Healing Breeze, Spellbreaker, Blessed Signet, Sprint, Blessed Aura, Mending, Balthazars Spirit.
First exit House Zu Heltzer. Put on Mending. Now tell your group to follow you to the log where the first dredge boss is. At that log have yourself and your whole party die. You will get resurrected at a shrine a little bit closer. Now place on your three main enchantments. Now running south you'll see a group of wardens. Before you go through them place on spellbreaker. Wardens strip enchantments. Run through the group useing sprint when your about half way through them. Make sure you make it out of them without them following you. Now as soon as you make it out wait without aggroing anything until spellbreaker is recharged. When it is Run South East. Oni may or may not pop out of the ground. If they do put on spellbreaker right away. Make sure to make it out of them and many Wardens to a place where you can hide and wait for spellbreaker to recharge. When it does recharge continue on into the next group of wardens with it on you. Repeat this until you reach the portal which isn't much farther away.
Now zone out of Lut Gardis Conservatory into Melandru's Hope. Put on your three main enchantments and run to the bridge. The mantis's between you and the bridge can sometimes give you alot of degen with hexs so I recommend you use spellbreaker. Make sure you get out of them fast!. After cross the bridge just turn and go west. Run through the dredge until you make it to the portal. Zone through it.
I recommend haveing them pay you at Lut Gardis Conservatory to avode scammers. Charge 750g to 1,000g for this run.
Conclusion: 55hp running is a great way to make gold, and is perhapes not as "lazy" as 55hp farming. Now you know how to 55hp run in Factions. It might take a few trys to get used to it, but once you do it should be easy.
Note: I will add more content as I find more places you can 55hp run.

I like using this for a generic running build:
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending
Prot Spirit
Healing Breeze
Sprint
Rush
Spellbreaker [E]
-- WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER MY LAST SKILL OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD!!!!--
You don't need essence bond when running, and spellbreaker is superior except when you have to deal with knockdowns, then I would recommend charge + balanced stance. It can be hard at times manageing your energy - if you can find mobs that you can easily tank with spirit/breeze you can abuse balth spirit to top off your energy, then sprint away.

For the following runs I have given so far, you don't need spellbreaker. Its easier with charge and sprint. Although I am working on a running stratagy for a 55hp runn in kurzick territory that will most likely use spellbreaker. You shouldn't waste your elite on spellbreaker if its not needed. For each run I give the best 55hp monk build for it.
Edit- I have added runs where you need spellbreaker.

P.S. Is your last skill blessed Aura?

When your 55hp you don't really need to flee. Charge and sprint are in there manely to make it a faster process. Also you only need spellbreaker in runs that I show you need it in. there no point in useing spellbreaker as an elite if you don't need it. Charge can then be used to fill in the elite spot.
Also most ranger flee skills are under expertise. Therefor a 55hp monk can only have them last 5 seconds. 8 second sprint, charge, or rush are much more efficent.
Also I never see ranger secondary 55hp runners. Guess I'm just weird. :P
Also there is no freeing up room for spellbreaker. If i wanted it in there with two 25% faster running skills then I'd use sprint in rush and remove blessed signet.
